How about the glass part only, without breaking it
why we dont buy another mirror cover to put it on ? we need to change all the hold mirror ? my car Buick 2016 also have this problem , should i order the new cover in ebay it is 45$ per one side
The Honda cars are the easiest to deal with. There is a socket close to the mirror, then you can replace it without removing the door panel.
Last time I replaced the mirror, I just cut off the wires and reconnected them using wire connectors. No need to remove the door panel.

I want to reattach mine, not replace it. it's a 2001Alero. I had fixed it with epoxy glue applied to the area that seats the mirror to the car mirror " holder" ( dunno correct term ) This vid helped, thanx.
