How to replace C4 Corvette headlight bulbs.
**This video will go though the steps for changing the headlight bulbs in a C4 Corvette. The Vette uses 6x7 (aka 5x7) sealed beam headlights. The tools are basic and the job is really easy. You can do both sides in 20min no problem.

A few notes for folks who own an '84
The manual knob is on the bottom of the motor, not to the side like shown in this video
To move the lights manually requires unplugging them otherwise the motor will fight to engage (just a grey connector along the front right bumper to disengage
There are two screws per light (not one) that need to be taken out once the light has been popped out partially
Finally, mine did not use 7mm, but all phillips head and torx
Super helpful video!
As a new C4 owner 'thanks for this. Amazing how the 6054 headlight is still super easy to find at Canadian Tire and other stores.
Have a 95 vert and a 96 coupe. Put new lamps in both cars today. Thanks for the easy directions. Much better with the new glass lights vs the old weak plastic ones. Been subbed to your channel for a while, love all your content…
Going to attempt this tonight after work. Bulbs are 28 years old and dim as heck.
Finally got my c4 mow these videos are useful to me😂
Thanks! very helpful. I just replaced my headlight motor bushings and changed out the headlights while I had the unit out of the car. only thing I will add is on my 94, the headlight cover is held on by 2 phillps head and 2 T15 head screws. no 7mm.
Hey Chris great video….but where is the other one you replaced and fixed the headlight motor of this same corvette, im ready to do same on mine and I cant find the video😔
Great video! No BS, no life story or history of your car, just the info that I wanted to see. Thanks!
Appreciate the video. I replaced my bulbs but sadly didn't fix my problem. Both low beams work but I only have one high beam. All the wiring appears intact but I'm not sure if my switch is bad or if a ground isn't hooked up
is the corvette still around
Love the video as a how to guide. Thank you. I'm not a car guy by any means and forgive me if this sounds crazy. Would putting a blue light work well for this car? I feel like when I'm driving at night no one see me driving(granted the vette is sitting low to the ground).
Thanks for the video. Still an insane amount of steps to replace a headlight.
Thanks buddy.
My 84 doesn't have the knob to manually turn the headlights. Strange…
