I have vibration at idle (throughout the SUV) so I was wondering if my motor and/or transmission mounts could be bad at 58,000 miles on a 2014 Xterra. I don't see much movement on the engine though. I do get a momentary shudder when going from park to reverse. There are no vacuum leaks so I ruled that out. I've been told of several other things that cold be bad but I don't have any codes.
I have a bad clunking noise going over bumps, but it stops when I turn the steering wheel in either direction. When driving straight on smooth roads, there is no noise and no vibration in the steering wheel. So, I don't think it's a CV joint problem. Any ideas?
Interesting. Gotta check my shit out. Pretty sure it's bad bad noises when shifting from park to reverse and such. But regular driving shifts perfectly.

you should probably have specified that some of these symptoms only really apply to transverse mounted engines(correct me if I'm wrong) since they torque back and forth unlike a good ol' RWD drive train that torques side to side
