How to lift a truck. This video shows you how to lift your truck with torsion bars also known as a T bar lift.
This tbar lift is done on a 2001 Mazda B3000 / Ford Ranger. You will need an alignment afterwards because of the angle change in the suspension. Tighten the tbar screw to lift the truck, loosen to lower the truck. I got a 1.5in lift and my C/V joint angle is only at a 5 degree angle so it should be fine with minimal wear.

Tou know its an old video when it doesnt start with "hey guys…."
What tires can you fit in there, now? Anyone know?
I’m watching this is 2023 trying to figure out how to remove the torsion bars and add a spring
2023
My 99 b3000 has a super exaggerated lift and rides really rough. Im going to try what you have that seems reasonable.
Wtf this is chris fix?! He has come a long way. I was about to tell him that's not a ratchet it's a socket and those are not nuts they're bolts.
👍
why wood you leave you truck with 2 different measurements?
Lol anyone watching this in 2023
You know I thought about those basic leveling kits that level out a truck I mean they're okay but of course you're going to need an alignment but even after that like if you hit a bump or something the shocks are going to bottineau in the front end because of that spacer that is part of the leveling kit! I mean if you just want to love your truck and drive around like normal then yeah fine you know! But you're still going to need an alignment after doing this! I raised my GMC about two and a half inches or so in the front to match and I thought it looks so cool but that thing was ridiculous going down the road before I got an alignment and then when I went for the alignment the guy told me he can only addresses so far and that he had no more adjustment I had to actually
So you said only time will tell… how well did time tell. Is this a good idea?
not for 2wd
After cranking the keys. I know you need alignment .Question do you have to buy special camber bolts or can you use the ones from factory.
Dang youve came along way from this 👏👏👏
Can you do this with a 2004 f150 (new body style)
Lol anyone watching this in 2023
