Can using a fuel additive increase HP and Torque? For this video we are testing CleanBoost Maxx which claims to increase horsepower and fuel economy.
Where I bought Clean Boost Maxx: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00MEW927O/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B00MEW927O&linkCode=as2&tag=chri0e2-20&linkId=7VHEGS43F5KCXNUL
I tested this additive to see if it increased fuel economy in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DUkICPS0zQE
We are at East Coast Supercharging testing a Honda Civic Si on the dyno to get accurate HP and Torque numbers before and after adding CleanBoost Maxx to the gas to see if it really works...
So what do we think? Is horsepower in a can real?

is it just methanol & acting like a methanol injection system?

If you have no ties at all with that company, I believe it 🙂
Because it's little bit strange that you don't test and cop
Compared it with different brands 🙂🤔

    Is there any catch ?

  4. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Downy-D says:

What would actually happen if you do use the entire bottle? Im guessing blowing up your engine?

Adding ignition timing….would take full advantage of the octane booster..

This car looks like you bought it from theboywiththehonda

    Mix nitro in the fuel

If you have 87,89 or 91 like ca the lower the octane the lower timing the engine will produce due to knock. That alone on these engines is 10 hp. If you are running 87 then add boast it produces more hp. What octane did u start with? I can fudge numbers by putting in 87( retards timing and power) then add boaster and it would run like it should.

When vtec kicks in at 160hp >>> vroooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooom

You should show the cam timing and injection timing in this test to show that the timing changers based on the detonation in the cylinders which leads to advanced timing allowing more air in for compression to make more power. Meaning any older cars that do not have VCT, VVT, VVTI, TI-VCT etc wont benefit from just putting this in the tank unless the fuel is to low in Octane rating causing detonation. Would love to see the changers in cam timing and injection timing.

Great, but for every day driving it makes no difference whatsoever.
