I've had some rust near door drain hole in a new car (almost 1yr old)
What should I do to fix it?

Could be a broken rod, or a bad master switch, or common in GMs it gets stuck, or could be a low battery, or I’ve literally seen a rod cap get scratched and stop it from going down and locking

Another problem could be broken wire in the door grommet sleeve. After 10+ years the cable insulation can stiffen up and broke, leaving the naked wiring exposed, they can short to each other or just be broken after a while.

Hi Chris, my Mazda 3, 2009, the power windows won't go up on passenger front and passenger back right if I press it from driver switch, what could go wrong? They can all go down no problem, just going up and only on 2 windows

Hi Chris, my 08 Mazda 3 driver side actuator doesn't sense the lock knob. The cable is always jammed as long as the harness is connected. I changed the actuator and the problem stays. I can lock with the key from the outside, and the remote also works fine. Only the driver lock knob is jammed. Could it be an electrical issue?
You need a SickFix… take care of yourself. Back to my muffler bearings and blinker fluid.
