Learn how to ceramic coat your car at home. There are many great ceramic coatings out there. I am using Armor Shield iX which is DIY friendly and very easy to apply. It provides at least 2 years of protection and makes your paint extra glossy. To ceramic coat your car, just like with painting, the prep is the most important and most time consuming steps.

Hey guys Chrisfix here and today! I'm going to show you how to properly ceramic coat your car yourself. First you need to wash your car. You want to remove all the dirt and I like to work from the top down and be sure to clean every nook and cranny because it has to be perfectly clean. The next step is to clay bar and iron Decon The car so spray the iron Decon for lubricant and with medium pressure, move the clay bar in a straight back and forth motion to remove the contaminants from the paint and you can see all the contaminants we removed. So after the car is Clayton dried it looks good from afar, but as you get closer it doesn't look good so let's fix this. So the next step is to get some polish on your pad and work that polish into the paint and you want to buff all that polish off, giving us a mirror finish. Next we want to rub down the entire car with an IPA solution and this removes any residue from soaps, waxes, and sealants. Now we want to apply our ceramic coating and to do that, apply a bunch of the ceramic coating to the cloth. Now we want to wipe a thick layer of ceramic across the surface, first vertically and then horizontally. and once you see it Haze up now we can lightly buff it and you'll see that residue getting removed leaving behind a ceramic coated surface and that's how you ceramic coat your car.
That is a 15 year old car shining like a brand new ferrari

Can you explain in detail the difference between wax and ceramic coating? Is one clearly better than nthe other?
I finally found another of these.
other than missing like 5 more steps… this was an ok video. your content has become generic and terrible over the years.
you should have cut, then buffed, and 4 coats of ceramic with 2 base and a 2 stage over coat… all the decent ceramic coat products require this… all you did was waste time and $
