Replaced my low tone horn as well.but went for cheap and ended up getting sent another high tone horn(510).still used it as replacement…now they are uniquely annoying.Success!๐๐
Thanks Chris. Helpful video as usual.
I have a question for youโฆ my horn works just fine, but it wouldnโt sound until I held the horn down for several seconds. Is it because the horn was clogged with pollen or something? I never use it; I only noticed it stopped working because it stopped sounding when using the key fob to lock my vehicle.
Hello Chris. I have a '99 Civic whose horn only works sometimes… I hear the relay's clicking noises when I press the buttons on the steering wheel. I bought another horn at a junkyard, thinking it was the horn, but it turned out not to be, as both work hooked up to a battery… What could it be? Help would be appreciated from anyone…
Great video. Q: I have a 2018 Kia Rio with a single tone horn. I want to remove it and install an aftermarket high+low horn like the one here. Is it safe on the relay, fuse and the alarm system since the dual tone will draw more current and what should I do?. Thank you.
Hey can you help my horn wasnโt working at first changed the fuses that didnโt help but it suddenly started to work then it stopped working all of a sudden again I hear the clocks from the relay and everything
Finally switching mine out after they gone completely lol
I solved my issue by cleaning the contacts with 5.56, great video as always Chris!
Thanks auto parts for paying for this video
the horn i took out of my miata has a single terminal. how do i replace with a 2 terminal horn. i can find a single terminal horn
A good practice before doing a continuity test is to check the multimeter by touching the leads together and verifying a reading of zero ohms.
Hey so this isn't necessarily related but I have a 05 gmc envoy that I put an aftermarket steering wheel in and I removed the clockspring thinking that that'd give me the ability to hook up the horn but I haven't had any luck hooking it up do you think you could give me any pointers?
Isnโt there a continuity mode built into the meter right?
How do we make the horn louder
Great video but on my2006 gmc envoy, I donโt see the horn in front of the battery
So my horn doesnt work from the steering wheel but when i lock it then it makes a noise, The fuse is fine and the relay clicks when i lock it would replacing the clockspring fix this issue?
