TPMS, A tire pressure monitoring system lets you know if a tire is leaking air or if it is flat and creating dangerous driving conditions. Since older cars dont have TPMS and it is a really nice feature to have. In this video I show you how to install an inexpensive TPMS for your car or truck.

The fact that you linked a cigarette lighter power sensor means you know EXACTLY what you're audience is looking for. Thanks!

To the smart asses saying they just wouldn't be lazy and check their tire pressure with an analog gauge. If your that proactive about checking your pressure good for you. But what you arent proactive enough to do is check your wheel temp. So when your temp is significantly higher on one wheel compared to the other three you'll know somethings wrong and have it checked out. Its how i was able to diagnose that my wheel bearing was bad even though it hadnt started to make a clear sound yet. But it did save me from chewing up a $300+ tire too badly. I think it had just started to cup. But it could have been a bad caliper or a couple other things thats best to catch as early as possible. Ill always have a tpms monitor system on my vehicle and trailers. Its an invaluable tool. Anyone saying otherwise is woefully misinformed on exactly what they do. Id suggest reading up on something before you make a foolish statement about it

If my cigarette lighter stays on constantly, how do I prevent this tire pressure gauge device from draining my battery when the truck is off unless I remove it every time I leave the vehicle?

I had to get one for my motorbike, lower pressure makes riding so much hardwr and could be fatal, on a car its a bit more safer and harder to notice but I would still get one for a car to detect leaks.

Can someone please explain how that locking hex nut keeps the sensor on? They would both turn counterclockwise to take off so if there’s friction and you turn the sensor wouldn’t it just also turn the hex nut taking it off too? I just installed a set of these and put the hex nut on since why not….but why??

@chris fix, 2 questions A my truck says that I need to check my tire pressure monitoring system if I installed this would it bypass that completely?, also second the third link doesn't work anymore is it like important to have the cigarette lighter power splitter?

Will this over ride the dash board light and turn it off?
