This is how I recharge my aerosol spray cans such as wd40, carb cleaner, pb blaster, etc. A lot of times the air leaks out over time or you use half of the can but the propellant gets used up and you have to throw away the can. I go over two methods to refill the propellant in aerosol cans so you can save money!
Valve stems: http://amzn.to/1DVd1ey
Air Compressor to fill the cans: https://amzn.to/3btmbZt
Compressor spray adapter: http://amzn.to/1F2ikOk

Thanks to sixtyfiveford for the idea of using a tire stem as another method as he showed in his video so we have options:

This is extremely dangerous do not do without gloves. Compressed air of that psi will get under your skin and balloon it out. And if there is liquid involved it will force that liquid into your skin. Before any trolls say it's not possible do research. It's excruciating pain and it can kill you. Anyone who argues this warning is an idiot and doesn't know what they are talking about.

There are two types of sprays – and you made one little mistake. One type (most common) of sprays as shown there, where valve is at the top position while spraying, others, has to be exactly opposite, (180 degrees), with valve in the bottom position while spraying. If you do mistake while spraying, that's exactly No1 reason why are you out of gas but with plenty of liquid inside remaining. So, when you filling gas (compressed air) inside, spray has to be 180 degrees from shown, so the liquid won't be spilled out in shown amount. You'll lose only air itself (maybe amount of liquid already in tiny spray hose inside bottle, at the very beginning).

Just found a can of spray that is weak so this was good timing that it showed up in my feed even though this video is 8 years old. Thanks.

This is a good way to cause the can to explode. The better option is to drain the can into a manual spray bottle.or an aerosol can specifically made to be refilled with air. This dude is a perfect example.of people that should be banned from the internet

If you hold the can upside down the liquid inside won't come out on you .

Great Idea. I would probably grab about a 1/2" inch long piece of rubber hose like they use for your car vacuum lines or window washer and slip it over the white part of the can and use your spray nozzle on the other end of it to make a nice tight seal while pressing down and inflating the can. The loss of content from the can would be minimized and almost all of the air would go into the can from the nozzle. Just a thought. Keep up the great video ideas!

There is a refillable aresol with a glass bottle bottom. I have one. It was meant for spraying velour adhesives. You can put anything in it.
I also use a refillable/reusable weight watcher's salad dressing pump sprayer. It has liquid wrench in it from a dead full can.
