Bad wheel bearing? Wheel bearing noise? Learn how to replace a wheel bearing in your car or truck. In this video I show you how to replace a front or rear wheel bearing hub assembly. With this wheel bearing replacement you need to remove the axle nut, the brake caliper and rotor, and unbolt the bad wheel hub bearing assembly. It is that simple! I show you how to replace the wheel bearing at home using common hand tools, and this time the video is an ASMR (autonomous sensory meridian response) video with high quality audio!

I am happy about this video except for I wish there was more time seeing the wirebrush wheel running. before and after cleaning off the bolts, maybe just another 4 or 5 seconds of letting the wheel spin followed by some whisper talking. just kidding Chris, thanks for the video man, gonna go wrench on stuff.

Come on Chris my last challenge was take a shot every time you said blinker fluid in one of your old videos

@ChrisFix A very useful tip for cleaning smaller bolts: insert them into the chuck of any electric drill, apply some oil, and then hold a wire brush against the threads, or fine sandpaper around the shank. Just a sweet tip for those without that awesome machine you had for the bolts.

Even by ChrisFix expertly edited ‘ wasn’t that easy?’ standards that was ALOT of work!!

Asmr makes it feel like when the person speaks they are right in your ear whispering with their hot humid breath in your ear. Very cringy.😦

We all learned from ChrisFix that a little bit of soapy wooder and some spray paint anything can look good

I couldn’t find the wheel bearing and hub for my b2300, just the bearings. Decided not to take this one on.

I used to fix cars in an age when you just replaced the bearings, and not the whole stub-axle assembly. Apparently split or cotter pins are not used any more either.??

You forgot to install the tension cone on your 3-jaw adapter which makes controlling the puller arms so much easier. Also, an upgrade from the slide hammer kit's 5lb. to a 10lb. slide hammer makes a big difference.

  13. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Jamie McFall says:

Thank you @chrisfix I got both sides done in a few hours without the hub puller as none of the auto stores had any to rent so I beat the crap out of those hubs

I think it is better if you explain things because some people will not know what you are doing and think they are not necessary

What in the actual F*?! I love the sounds of hard work, tools, my car and being alone but I've never heard it put into something quite like this before… I knew I was addicted to my daily therapy but I didn't know just how much I love these sounds until this very moment. Thought this was a joke at first, now I'm just at peace. Thank you

How long in reality do you take on this kinda maintenance? Did some repairs and installations using your vids and it takes awhile😅, love the vids brotha🙏🏽🤙🏽

  17. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Manuel Aguilar says:

I bought a hub assembly but didn't come with part on the back where the bearing goes. What is that part call?

Honestly I would have cleaned up the backing plate while it was still off the vehicle!! Could have even hit it with a wire wheel or sand paper and gotten the rust off it after it was clean as well too……..AND I would have clean and painted both sides of it!! Not that I am anal, mind you, but It will help protect the parts like a backing plate and make them last a little longer!! BESIDES you never know when you might have to hit a salvage yard to look for one of these, and if somebody else does what you do, I personally would rather have the pretty painted one, then another one that is all rusted out and junk!! ALSO BESIDES you already have it apart, so why not clean it off while it is off the vehicle???? And while I was at it, I would have cleaned up the Caliper and painted that too in some cases!! One other thing too I do especially on trucks…..is I put a drop of oil on each wheel stud as I am putting the rim back on!! Here in upstate New York, those lug nuts LOVE to rust fast, and you never seem to need to remove a wheel until you are literally in two feet of snow or knee deep in mud, when you get a flat tire!! The oil on the lug nuts helps protect the nut from rusting fast to the wheel stud!!
