good one chris very informative video!!! keep doing more like this
Dang its a 3.8
Do you have one for a Kia sore to 2006 preferably
Iโm not anti mechanic, I know that things cost money but something as simple and quick as a radiator hose shouldnโt cost that much to replace. I drive a Range Rover Evoque and I was quoted $400 for a replacement. All I had to do was remove my air filter box and then it was as simple as the video. Took maybe 30 mins but yet the hourly rate wouldnโt even add up to the cost. What, were they charging me $200 per hour?
With my part being $40, and the time being less than a hour in labor, why is my quote $400 other than what name is on my hood? The foreign car taxation is disgusting, they act as if working on foreign cars is a mechanical jigsaw puzzle when in reality a lot of mechanics just donโt have the knowledge of how those cars work. A lot of it is pretty basic but just requires maybe a piece or two that might need to be removed for easier access.
All cars were made with the ability to take apart and put back together, depends on the technician if they want to be a fair person or not.
im so grateful for this channel, I have a 1990 ford bronco and its hard to find youtube videos instructing so well on old cars ๐
clamps can be reused even after 15 yearS?
Ty I watch your video and changed my upper and lower hoses by myself.. yay.. now imma 2atch how to change the water pump
I love you so much Chris I used to watch your videos all the time and just came across this one after buying my first car thank you for the help
You don't worry about other coolant hoses? Shouldn't we change them all at the same time? e.g. Heater inlet, outlet, return, expansion tank hose etc. On 2012 Volvo XC60, there're so many coolant hoses! Any of them leak will cause loss of coolant.
The check engine light didn't have anything to do with the hose job, right?
In Australia we get ripped off hardcore. On a 2001 Toyota Echo a mechanic wanted to charge my partners mum $500 to install a $20 item.
