Thanks, very helpful and thorough. I have one question though. I've read alot of people say the only place you should use anti seize is on the inner rotor/wheel hub, but not to lubricate the brakes (pads/calipers). Instead they say to use some lubricant or brake grease. What's your idea on this?

Chris doing more good and teaching with his videos than the whole tech industry does at college. Thanks for giving us pawns the confidence and visuals on how to maintain our vehicles. The best part he uses hand tools most of the times.

Wow, amazing…now this lady could do her own back brakes… Seeing how simple this is is unnerving because I just paid $1200 for the front two brakes….happy I came across this vid… so tired of mechanics ripping me off!!!

Chris. Recently we have replaced a set of brand new front rotor and brake pad as well on my 2006 Toyota Prado since from 3000kms ago. But why it’s still jecking/jump when we take a harder brake on it? For slightly braking is fine, but harder braking is a bit jecking. Recheck the rotors and pads today seens all straight and right. What happened?

is it necessary to change your rear brakes and rotors if you are changing the front brakes and rotors?
