Learn how to replace rusty leaf springs, shackles, and leaf spring mounting brackets in your truck or suv. I also show how to replace leaf spring bushings and remove the rust and undercoat the frame of your vehicle. We lift the truck in the process by using Chevy/Dodge lowering shackles which fit the Ford Ranger/Mazda B-Series trucks.

You are amazing King!
Bro sprayed on the cam☠️💀☠️☠️💀
How does tread locker work I'm very curious
Today mine snapped and now it’s through my truck bed lol
Hey Chris, what are your thoughts on undercoating still? I've seen videos from the rust belt such as South Main Auto's undercoating video where Ziebart undercoating was used that ended up destroying a frame on a chevy truck. Are undercoatings all made different?
What’s the part number for the front brackets
I noticed you had a 1.5 or 2 inch lift block in the back on top of the axel. I would have removed that and made the arc of the springs more with a big sledge hammer and a old semi truck rim. Also I would not use a longer shackle but made the spring more arc so that you have more suspension travel. I also would add a 4th leaf to that pack. I have 5 leaves on both sides plus the overload on my frontier truck and it is good for heavy loads.
If only there were mechanics around here that put this much time and effort and care into their work and at a reasonable price. This guy seems to know what he's doing pretty well and what a huge difference it made. Solves alot of future problems or prevents them I guess.
Hey man! Is this a g6 2.6 L petrol?
always loved how genuine chris is, and how easy he can make it look approachable for us to work on things and giving us all the steps.
Where can you buy the parts to lift the truck a bit ?
I think you should be a mechanic cuz you’re amazing at repairing and setting and customizing cars build your own garage on empty concrete and hire builders and boom you have your own garage and hire some other guys that do the same thing that you do keep up the good work I love your channel and creative work keep it up 👍🏾 ❤😀😃😄😁😎
Can anybody help me with the part number for the leaf springs bushings?
Thanks.
