Is there a specific way you have to lift your car with the jack if you don't have an actual lift? I have an Astro van that has rusted through rear shocks I was wanting to replace myself
If you have a old 94-04 Jeep I guarantee the bolts are rust bonded in. It's a major headache to remove.
PB Blaster, Pry Bar, Impact wrench (600ft-lbs+)
Oh did I mention you don't need to lift the car or take off the tire. Just remove the plastic cover in wheel well.
Lol this guy should run some sort of training programme for a week, everyone would come out of that course with basic mechanical knowledge they would remember forever
Please do a video on choosing shocks and struts, sizing them etc. You're the best.
I' guessing you had the suspension pre-loaded with the trolley jack?
I can’t be the only one sitting by the car watching this
so today lost 2h on that bolt down, no luck, tomorrow going to service shop to spill some cash…😭
bmw e46 4doors sedan rear left upper mount blown
tried everything except heat and air-tools
would do it myself but yeah
I need to do this. Thanks bro
Not all of them are this easy to replace. On some cars you need lift.
