For the soapy wooder is the same soap as used for the car or a different type of soap

In your experience @chrisfix , how long does the wax usually last with regular touchless washes with that non wax removing car soap?
These videos are cool, very educational, well-explained, and almost self-explanatory.
chris i got up to the compound step for the paint and noticed that when i tried to wipe it off it left streaks of soapy water. i rinsed it with water (purified) and it left residue of the compound around many areas and i can't buff it off even with lots of pressure it doesn't come off. i also tried wiping with alcohol and only a little bit came off but there's still a lot of residue any help for this?

Just washed my car and waxed it and it looks new but after watching this video I feel like my car will look like it just rolled off the assembly line
