Battery died twice it was a brand new battery Honda has not been moving two years when I will turn it on I hear a bearing noise I remove the alternator, turn the car on and the noise continues so it was not the alternator I put it back, But thatโ€™s when the battery died, had to jumpstart it, I follow the steps on this video and the problem was I did not connect the cable from battery to the alternator it looked like it was connected but it was not, I learned to check every connection in detail so you can pinpoint the problem exactly good video

Just some constructive feedback…not sure if any of the other 4500+ comments called this out, but your description literally starts out with, "Does your car not start…?" But then you only offer tests that require STARTING your car. Since my Jeep wont start, this was frustrating.

Do all alternators have ground wires, or are some grounded through the alternator casing?
