A car that won't start can be caused by many different problems from low fuel pressure to no spark. In this case, I have no clue what the problem is and I go though my methodology to figure out the problem. (Spoiler alert) It ends up being a bad battery which is probably the most common no start problem.

You forgot to replace the starter, drive it around town all night, wake up in the morning, hear a click, kick a hole in your door panel, and scream an expletive.

Hi can anyone help me? I have a 2008 Vauxhall Corsa D. I’ve just replaced the battery and now it won’t start but I’m getting power to the dash lights. One of the dash light is a flashing car with a spanner. I’ve looked it up and some say it could be the immobilisation system preventing it from cranking and starting the engine. Any tips or advise would be great thanks 🙏

I go by personal experience……almost every time my Jeep wont start its usually a clogged/dirty throttle body….carbon gunk. I also try to remember to keep it clean, sometimes I forget. All cars act different to me…..lol…you have to learn on each different car. They each have their own quirks.
