Learn how to replace a front push bar aka brush guard on your truck or suv. In this case we are working on a Hummer H3 but the process is the same, if not similar for most brush guard installs.
The trick here for installing this brush guard so you don’t have to remove the bumper is to spin the d-ring so you unscrew it from the bumper without having a wrench holding the bolt behind the bumper. Otherwise the instructions say to remove the front bumper and that’s extra work.

Hey guys! Chris Fix here! My friend just picked up a really nice Hummer H3 It's a 2006 but it had really bad belt noise so I replaced the belt for him. But as a surprise I'm also gonna add a front push bar and this is gonna be really simple. We have all the Fasteners and mounts and our tools all common hand tools and the first thing we need to do is to get these D-rings off so we could sandwich our mounts in here. So let's unscrew this bolt going through the d-ring then we can remove it the rest of the way by hand, then unscrew the two bolts holding on the d-ring mount, and then spin the mount to remove the hidden bolt.

that way we don't have to remove the entire front bumper. Then we can install the plate that the brush guard will Mount to and torque that down and then torque down the d-ring bolt. And next we could add the brush guard and this is held in with four bolts, two bolts on each side. so get the washers and nuts on there and torque them down to spec.

and the last thing to do is to add the headlight protection and torque down both of these bolts and check it out. Now this looks like a real Hummer Beautiful.
