Great video. My folks have an old Alfa Romeo sitting in their garage. I don’t believe the car has been started in the neighbourhood of 7-10 years.

Shouldnt ypu first of all check to make sure flywheel is not seized? I think thats what the Vice Grip Garage guy checks for if its been sitting for 5 or more yrs??? My 95 mustang gt has been sitting for at least 3 or 4 yrs and I need to start driving it again… Great video though.

just a quick question, if I dont have the tool to take out the sparkplugs and lube up the cylinders could I still try to start it or would it be a massive no no??

  10. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Reggie Rail Systems says:

If the engine has sat for a long time, the worst thing you can do is drain the existing oil and filter because you’re going to run it dry during start and there’s no real loyal in the upper half of the engine and cam. The engine should be prelude before cranking it.
